Chair - Co-opted
I have lived in Bolney since 2010 with my husband and two sons, one of which currently attends Bolney CEP School.
I am a primary school teacher and a mathematics consultant. I have worked in West Sussex schools for almost 20 years and therefore understand both the joys and the challenges of working in a range of school settings.
I have been a governor since 2014. I want to use my experience to support both the excellent staff and enthusiastic, hard-working children here, to ensure the school continues to be the best it can be.
Term of office - 1.1.15 - 28.11.22
Mr Peter Sutton
My wife, daughter and I moved to Warninglid about 10 years ago. Having grown up in Haywards Heath, I studied Agriculture and worked all over the country, including Scotland, Wales and for a time was a lecturer and shepherd at Plumpton College near Lewes. Currently working as a Farm Manager, running a Pedigree sheep farm on a small estate on the edge of Warninglid.
I joined the Governing body in 2011 as a parent governor, being impressed with the school that my daughter had just started at and wanting to contribute in some way.
Alongside working and being a governor, I have been on the organising Council of the Heathfield Agricultural Show for 12 years, being Chair of the sheep section for 5 years. I was a Director of the Texel Sheep Society and currently a member of the PCC for St. Mary Magdalene Church, Bolney where we worship regularly.
It's been a huge privilege to be on the governing board of the school and I always strive in any small way that I can to help the other governors and staff provide an environment in the school where everyone can 'Be the best you can, Guided by God'.

I live in Bolney with my husband and two boys - William and Isaac who both attend the school. We love the village and the school, I couldn't be more overjoyed with how William and Isaac settled in and the wonderful welcoming feeling from staff and other pupils.
I am a Pharmacist and I've worked in various community pharmacies locally for over ten years. Prior to having the children I was also on the West Sussex local pharmaceutical committee (LPC).
I am very keen and enthusiastic to have an opportunity to be a school governor. I relish a challenge and would like to have the opportunity to use and develop my skills and knowledge to make a real difference to the children in Bolney school

I have been a governor at this school for the last 4 years and have found it both interesting and rewarding. I became a governor to try and improve communication between the school and the parents and I felt my business knowledge could possibly be useful in these hard funding times.

Hi, I'm Unity, these are some facts about me:
My favourite colour is rose gold, but don't tell my house captains!
Maths is my favourite subject and it's not just because my class teacher is also the Maths leader.
I love all Chinese food (especially Duck Pancakes!).
As well as being Pupil Governor, I am a Librarian.
After school I do Netball and Tennis.
Hi, my name is Felix and here is a bit about me:
You may know that I am mad about Chemistry and often read books about it.
My favourite colour is mainly Blue though I am in the Red team so don't say anything to my house captain!
I often play football and am on the school team (I tend to play in defence getting lots of bruises but saving goals in the process).
I also have a reputation for plutonium (Pu) as I am madly into it because of its radiation factor.
My favourite scientist is Albert Einstein who was born in Germany, 14th March 1879.
