This term our Big Question is:
This term, Beech Class will be exploring the question: “Should I keep a diary?”. This question arises from our study of Samuel Pepys and how his diary helped historians understand what happened during the Great Fire of London. Our topic will begin by developing a deeper understanding of the events that took place on 2nd September 1666, including how and why the fire spread so quickly across London. Later in the term, Beech Class will consider whether they would have made different decisions if they had been the Mayor of London at the time, Sir Thomas Bludworth.
