Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disability Information

At Bolney CEP School, we are committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their needs or abilities, is given the opportunity to thrive, achieve and feel valued. We believe that inclusion is at the heart of our school and that all pupils should be supported to reach their full potential.

Our intent for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is to:

  • Identify needs early so that appropriate support can be put in place quickly.

  • Provide high-quality, inclusive teaching that is adapted to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Work in partnership with parents, carers and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.

  • Celebrate every achievement – academic, social, or personal – to build confidence and resilience.

  • Remove barriers to learning so that children are able to access all areas of school life.

  • Prepare pupils for the future by developing independence, life skills, and a love of learning.

We believe that every child has the right to feel safe, happy and included in their learning journey. By working together, we strive to create an environment where differences are celebrated and every child is given the support they need to succeed.
