Welcome to Beech Class
Friday 22nd March 2019
Another busy week!
In P.E this week Mr Pitt and the class did team games. Some children found it challenging to listen and take turns.
In English we have been planning our Mary Anning biographies. We discussed that biographies are based on fact and we have to use what we have found out to use in our writing as well as add our own opinions about Mary.
In maths we have continued with money. We counted, added, solved problems and gave change. We will continue for another week.
In D.T we have planned what we would like to use to build our volcanoes. We drew our design and labelled it.
Thank you for all of your support, Mrs James

Reading Records are a valuable tool for communicating how the children are getting on with reading both at home and in school. They contain questions to help guide the reading. Reading for pleasure is our goal as always.
Practise the spelling rule sent home each week using the activities suggested.
Practise times tables so that you are fluent in recalling and applying them, starting with the 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
Topic Grid tasks:
The topic grid has different tasks to choose from. The children are expected to complete at least one task each half term.
The Learning Logs can be taken home every day if you would like to use them for other activities.
