Our Learning
This Week
W
e have written lots!  We’re getting a bit worn out!  We’ve made lots of lightsabers!
Year 1 wrote “Harry and the Dinosaurs” stories from our plans.  We’re still writing our dinosaur books.
We all wrote facts about ourselves, in preparation for writing a biography next week. 
Year R have been have been writing number 1-10 and beyond, as independently as possible.
Year R have been comparing and ordering numbers up to 15.
Year 1 have been comparing and ordering numbers up to 50 and revisited Addition and Subtraction to check our understanding.
We started talking about seasons.

Next Week
We’re still looking for signs of seasonal changes.
We’ll be finding out about famous dinosaur hunters.
We’ll still be finishing our dinosaur books – nearly there!
We’ll be finishing our dinosaur fight dance. 

Help at Home:
- As always, read!
- Practise reading then writing keywords (inside the reading diaries).

Home Learning
Please read with your child every day. 
Ask them questions about what they have read and write in their diaries. 
Play games to help them to develop turn taking and listening to others.
Notice numbers out and about and try counting and writing numbers to 6, to 10 and beyond. 
Talk to them about what they see around them.
