Silver Birch

Welcome to Silver Birch Class
Year 5 and Year 6
Our spring term topic is World War 2!

We will be learning about what life was like for children during the war and how evacuation had an impact on them. We will be also exploring the significance of the Battle of Britain and the D-Day landings.

We have begun reading 'Cogheart' by Peter Bunzl. This the first in a series of four books about a girl named Lilly trying to find out about the disappearance of here father. We like that it is keeping us guessing!

Year 6 are currently taking part in Forest Schools on a Wednesday afternoon and Year 5 are having Street Dance lessons on Thursday Mornings.
