NEARS Y5 Big Sing June 2017

Nearly 200 Y5 children from 11 local schools joined together for a big sing at Ardingly Chapel. This was to give our children the opportunity to perform in a large group, something we find difficult as a small school. We learnt the songs in school first and then all got together on June 20th for our final rehearsal and performance. After a couple of hour’s rehearsal the children gave a stunning performance of seven songs all around the theme of joy. This was led by the talented Emily Barden from West Sussex Music. We had a wonderful day, and were really impressed with our children’s singing, musical knowledge and behaviour. Please listen to the recording of our performance below.
